Investigation Underway After State Thruway Authority Worker Died, Another Seriously Injured In Henrietta Semi-Truck Accident

HENRIETTA, NEW YORK (September 30, 2024) – A New York State Thruway worker has died and another was seriously injured in a Henrietta semi-truck accident on I-90.

Henrietta police officials are saying that the collision took place on Thursday afternoon. The construction workers were in a work zone when they were hit by a semi-truck.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. One of the workers died due to their injuries.

The other worker was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
