Senior Partner Jeff S. Korek Is Sworn In As a Member of the Supreme Court Bar

Jeff S. Korek, senior partner at Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C., stood before eight of the nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, May 20^th and took the oath to become a member of the Supreme Court Bar. Present on the bench were Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Anthony Kennedy, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Samuel Alito, Justice Clarence Thomas, and Justice Elena Kagan.

After the Court was gaveled into session, Chief Justice John Roberts asked the Clerk of the Court if there was any other business to be conducted. Sal Zambri, partner at the distinguished Washington D.C. power house law firm of Regan, Zambri, Long & Bertram, PLLC, read the motion and offered Jeff as fit to become a member of the U.S. Supreme Court’s bar. Jeff stood up when his name was called. Chief Justice John Roberts approved the motion and the Clerk of the Court administered the oath.

Following the ceremony Mr. Korek and his family were fortunate to have been escorted by docent Mr Wendell Yee of the National Park Service for a private guided tour of the US Supreme Court complete with narratives concerning the many treasured frescoes and traditions that have made it the institution that it is today.

The swearing in ceremony into the nation’s highest Court is an honor for both Jeff and the firm.
