One Person Injured in Staten Island Car Accident

NYPD Investigating Staten Island Rollover Accident by Taylor Street and Alaska Street

WEST BRIGHTON, STATEN ISLAND (July 3, 2026) – At least one person was injured in a West Brighton, Staten Island car accident by the intersection of Alaska Street and Taylor Street.

New York City officials are saying that the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. One driver was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

The force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over in the roadway. Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the injured victim.

That person was transported to the hospital to receive treatment. Photos of the accident site showed a sedan that was flipped onto its roof with major front-end damage.
