Liability For Rhinebeck Car Accidents

Head-on collisions are among the most dangerous types of collisions that a person can be involved in. Many collisions occur when drivers make dangerous lane changes. Pursuant to New York VTL § 1128, a driver may not change their lane unless they have first ascertained that it is safe to do so. There is a rebuttable presumption of negligence on the part of any driver that crosses into opposing lanes of traffic. It is important that evidence is properly preserved after any accident.

  • Eye witnesses should be interviewed.
