One Person Injured In Brooklyn Semi-Truck Accident at Popeyes

New York City Investigating Brooklyn Tractor-Trailer Accident At Popeyes By Metropolitan Avenue and Vandervoort Avenue

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (July 21, 2024) –  A car and a tractor trailer were involved in a Brooklyn collision by a Popeyes near Metropolitan Avenue and Vandervoort Avenue.

New York City officials are saying that the collision took place on Wednesday. An 18-wheeler carrying compressed natural gas was involved in a collision with a sedan.

The force of the impact caused the semi-truck to crash into a Popeyes. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.

At least one person was injured and taken to the hospital. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
