Multiple Students Injured In Yorktown School Bus Crash

New York State Police Investigating School Bus Crash That Injured Multiple People on Route 142 by Tactonic State Parkway

YORKTOWN, NEW YORK (April 24, 2024) – Several people were injured in a Yorktown school bus accident on Route 132 near the Tectonic State Parkway.

Yorktown police officials are saying that the collision took place around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. A Hummer SUV apparently cut in front of a school bus prior to the crash.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of the victims. Surveillance footage of the site showed both vehicles with major damage.

Several students were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
