Mini School Bus Involved in Collision That Injured 10 People by Sunrise Highway and North Delaware Avenue in North Lindenhurst

NORTH LINDENHURST, NEW YORK (January 3, 2025) – At least 10 people were injured in a North Lindenhurst bus accident near the intersection of North Delaware Avenue and Sunrise Highway.

North Lindenhurst officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:00 p.m. on Monday. A school bus was hit by a vehicle that ran through a red light.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victims. A total of 10 people, including several children, were transported to the hospital.
