Fourth Person Presumed Dead In Fatal NYC Boat Accident

Three People Have Died and One Person is Presumed Dead After Boat Sank Near Breezy Point, Queens

QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 2, 2025) – Three people have tragically died in a boat accident near Breezy Point, Queens after a boat sank off of the coast.

New York City officials are saying that the incident took place on Monday. For undetermined reasons, a boat sank off the coast of the city.

Three people died as a result of that accident. Sadly, a fourth person is presumed to be dead. The victims were in a 30-foot vessel and around 5 miles southeast of Breezy Point.

A full investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
