Cyclist Died in Borough Park Dump Truck Accident

53-Year-Old Died in Borough Park, Brooklyn Dump Truck Collision by 16th Avenue and 49th Street

BOROUGH PARK, BROOKLYN (April 26, 2026) – A 53-year-old cyclist has tragically died in a Borough Park, Brooklyn car accident with a dump truck by 16th Avenue and 49th Street.

New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A cyclist was heading down the road when he was stuck by a 2021 Mack cement truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
