Bicyclist Killed In Harlem Postal Truck Accident

New York City Police Department Investigating Harlem Postal Truck Accident Involving E-Bike By West 122nd Street and Manhattan Avenue

HARLEM, NEW YORK (March 20, 2024) – A bicyclist tragically died in Harlem after he was run over by a postal truck by West 122nd Street and Manhattan Avenue.

New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 6:00 a.m. on Monday. The e-bike rider was heading down the road when they lost control of their bike and fell on the roadway.

The e-bike rider was then run over by a postal truck. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
