54-Year-Old Bicycle Rider Died In Bohemia Car Accident With Ford Bronco on Lakeland Avenue

BOHEMIA, NEW YORK (January 22, 2023) – A bicyclist has tragically died in a Bohemia car accident along Lakeland Avenue.

Bohemia police officials are saying that the incident took place around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. A woman was riding an electric bicycle south on the shoulder when she was hit by a Ford Bronco.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. She was taken to South Shore University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A full investigation  into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
