Bicyclist Critically Injured in Manhattan Bus Crash Along the Northbound Lanes of the West Side Highway by West 41st Street

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (May 10, 2026) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a Manhattan bus accident on the West Side Highway.

New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 4:55 AM on Friday. The 23-year-old was riding a Citi Bike when he was struck by a turning bus.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the injured victim. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital with serious injuries.
