Bicyclist Died In Niagara Falls Tow Truck Accident on 16th Street

Investigation Underway After Tow Truck Operator Struck and Killed E-Bicyclist Near the Intersection of Ontario Avenue and Lockport Street

NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK (August 10, 2025) – An e-bike rider has tragically died in a Niagara Falls tow truck accident near the intersection of Ontario Avenue and Lockport Street.

Niagara Falls officials are saying that the accident took place around 11:40 AM on Friday. A The bicyclist was making a turn when they were hit by a tow truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. They were transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in critical condition.

Sadly, they were beyond medical aid and died at the hospital. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
