13 Injured In Bronx MTA Bus Accident

New York Police Department Investigating Bronx MTA Bus Accident Involving Trash Truck By Bruckner Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue

BRONX, NEW YORK (June 2, 2024) – At least 13 people were injured in a Bronx MTA bus accident involving a trash truck by Bruckner Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue.

New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 9:10 p.m. on Thursday. An MTA bus and a Department of Sanitation garbage truck were involved in a collision.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of the victims. A total of 13 people were injured, and 8 people were taken to the hospital.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
