Intoxicated Driver Involved In Fatal Richmond Hills, Queens Car Accident
QUEENS, NEW YORK (July 29, 2023) – A worker has tragically died in a Richmond Hills, Queens car accident with a drunk driver near Atlantic Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. A Mercedes Benz C300 crashed into a city truck causing it to roll over.
A worker in the vehicle was thrown from his seat and became pinned underneath the truck. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
Sadly, the worker died after being taken to the Jamaica Hospital. Police arrested the driver of the Mercedes on suspicion of DUI.
