Pedestrian Died In Brooklyn Heights Collision With Suspected Drunk Driver on Atlantic Avenue
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (April 22, 2023) – A female pedestrian has tragically died in a Brooklyn Heights collision with a suspected drunk driver on Atlantic Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 9:55 p.m. on Sunday. A 31-year-old woman was traveling at a high rate of speed in a BMW when it rear-ended another sedan.
Both vehicles veered to the right and struck an outdoor dining structure. A woman was hit by one of the vehicles. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, a female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
