UPPER EAST SIDE, NEW YORK (October 28, 2023) – A young woman was injured in an Upper East Side car accident by First Avenue and East 68th Street.

New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a pickup truck.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. The woman was pulled from underneath the pickup truck and taken to the hospital.

A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
