Woman Died In Brooklyn House Fire Near Avenue D

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (June 9, 2023) – An elderly woman has tragically died in a Brooklyn house fire on East 52nd Street not far from Avenue D in East Flatbush.

New York City police officials are saying that the incident took place around 3:10 a.m. on Monday. A fire broke out on the second floor of the house.

Firefighters were called to the scene in order to help the victim. They found a woman dead on the second floor of the home.

Police are currently working to identify her. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
