Multiple People Died In Upper East Side, Manhattan Car Accident 71st Street
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (April 10, 2022) – Two people have tragically died in a car accident in Manhattan on FDR Drive in the Upper East Side.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 4:41 a.m. on Friday. A speeding driver was heading down FDR drive when he lost control and crashed.
The force of the impact caused the vehicle to catch fire. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims.
Two passengers in the car died due to their injuries. The driver was charged with reckless driving.
