MTA Blames Illegally Parked Truck For Accident That Injured Two People
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (July 31, 2023) – Two people have been injured in a Upper East Side MTA bus accident involving illegally parked truck on East 85th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place on Thursday morning. An MTA bus was involved in a collision with a parked truck. A second truck crashed into the bus after it stopped.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. Two passengers on the MTA bus were injured.
A full investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
