New York State Police Investigating Genoa Head-On Car Accident
GENOA, NEW YORK (December 11, 2023) – Two people were injured in a Genoa head-on car accident along Route 90 not far from Creek Road, according to NYSP.
Genoa police officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday. One vehicle crossed into opposing lanes of traffic and collided head-on with another car.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. One driver was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
A second person was also taken to the hospital. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
