Police Arrest Driver Believed To Be Intoxicated In Fatal Rochester Collision
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (September 28, 2023) – A truck driver has tragically died after being hit by an alleged drunk driver in Rochester along Lexington Avenue.
Rochester police officials are saying that the collision took place around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday. A truck driver was standing outside of vehicle when he was hit by another vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Sadly, the truck driver involved in the crash died due to his injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the passenger vehicle on suspicion of DUI. a full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
