Multiple People Injured After Truck Overturns On Brooklyn Queens Expressway By Atlantic Avenue
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (August 26, 2023) – Several people were injured after a truck overturned on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway causing major delays to traffic.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:00 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. A truck overturned in the roadway scattering debris everywhere.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help all of the victims. Three people were evaluated by first responders and taken to Lutheran Hospital.
A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
