Several People Injured After Suffolk County Transit Bus Crashed Into Brick Wall
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK (December 16, 2023) – At least six people were injured in a Suffolk County transit bus accident on Griffing Avenue.
Suffolk County officials are saying that the accident took place on Thursday. A transit bus and a passenger vehicle were involved in a collision under uncertain circumstances.
The force of the impact sent the school bus into a utility poll and building wall. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims.
Several people were taken to the hospital and at least 8 people lost power. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
