Tractor Trailer Driver Killed In Queens Collision With Out-Of-Control Motorist By The Intersection of Grand Avenue near 57th Street
QUEENS, NEW YORK (November 16, 2022) – A semi-truck driver has tragically died in a Queens car accident with an out-of-control driver by Grand Avenue near 57th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday. A semi-truck driver got out of his vehicle and was hit by a Chevy sedan heading west on the same street.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision on Grand Avenue in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the semi-truck driver died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the van remained at the scene and was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital Center.
