Scooter Rider Hospitalized In Penfield Hit-And-Run Collision In The Tops Plaza on Penfield Road
PENFIELD, NEW YORK (November 23, 2022) – A scooter rider was seriously injured in a Penfield hit-and-run collision in the Tops Plaza along Penfield Road.
Penfield officials are saying that the accident took place around 8:23 p.m. on Saturday. A scooter rider was crossing the roadway when they were hit by an SUV.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene but later turned themselves in. Paramedics were called to the scene and took the victim to the Strong Memorial Hospital.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
