Good Samaritan Died In Yonkers Collision With Drunk Driver on the Saw Mill River Parkway
YONKERS, NEW YORK (July 16, 2022) – A good Samaritan has tragically died in a Yonkers car accident on the Saw Mill River Parkway.
Yonkers police officials are saying that the collision took place on Friday morning. A good Samaritan stopped to help after a previous accident.
Sadly, the good Samaritan was hit by another vehicle and knocked to the ground. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help all of the victims.
Sadly, the good Samaritan died due to the severity of their injuries. Police arrested the driver that hit the victim on suspicion of DUI.
A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
