Utica Police Investigating Downtown Car Accident By Genesee Street and Hopper Street
UTICA, NEW YORK (December 16, 2023) – Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle in downtown Utica near the intersection of Genesee Street and Hooper Street.
Utica police officials are saying that the collision took place around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Two pedestrians were crossing the street when they were hit by a vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims. Both were taken to the hospital with injuries and one later died.
