Police Still Searching For Hit-And-Run Driver Involved In Deadly Collision
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (May 23, 2023) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a hit-and-run car accident by the intersection of East Main Street and Scio Street.
Rochester police officials are saying that the accident took place on Friday. A pedestrian was trying to cross the street in the early morning hours when they were hit by a vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries and were later pronounced dead.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
