HARRISON, NEW YORK (November 24, 2023) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a Harrison semi-truck accident along Interstate 287.

Harrison police officials are saying that the accident took place around 10:45 p.m. on Monday. A pedestrian was walking when they were hit by a semi-truck traveling west.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian died due to their injuries.

The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with police. A full investigation into the Harrison semi-truck accident remains ongoing a this time.
