One Person Killed, Four Injured In Gramercy DUI Collision By Third Avenue and East 21 Street
GRAMERCY, NEW YORK (July 1, 2023) – A drunk driver is facing manslaughter charges after a Gramercy DUI car accident by Third Avenue and East 21 Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. The driver of a Hyundai veered onto the street and hit a cyclist and three other people.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims. Sadly, one person died due to their injuries. Four other people were hospitalized.
A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time. Police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI.
