Driver May Have Tried To Flee After Deadly Flat Bush Car Accident Involving Tesla
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (June 9, 2023) – An elderly pedestrian sitting on a Flat Bush bench was killed in a car accident with an out-of-control Tesla along Avenue M.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday. A 17-year-old Tesla driver lost control before jumping the curb and hitting a pedestrian sitting on a bench.
The Tesla hit a traffic signal pole immediately prior to the collision. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving measures, he later died due to the severity of his injuries. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
