Flatbed Truck Driver Involved In East Harlem Pedestrian Accident Along 125th Street
EAST HARLEM, NEW YORK (September 4, 2023) – A pedestrian has tragically died in an East Harlem flatbed truck accident along 125th East Street and Third Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday. A 53-year-old pedestrian was trying to cross the street when he was run over by the wheels of a flatbed truck.
The victim was dragged for several hundred feet before being stopped by onlookers. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
Sadly, he later died due to the severe nature of his injuries. A full investigation into the East Harlem collision remains ongoing at this time.
