A woman was reportedly crossing Bay Parkway from Bensonhurst Park when she was hit by a sanitation truck that was heading east and turning right onto Bay Parkway.The force of the impact knocked the victim to the ground and left her with severe trauma. First responders rushed to the scene of the collision and transported her to NYU Langone in Sunset Park to receive treatment.The dump truck driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
