Pedestrian Died In Albany Collision Along Interstate 787 By Exit 1
ALBANY, NEW YORK (March 31, 2023) – A female pedestrian has tragically died in an Albany car accident along Interstate 787 by exit 1 while retrieving her dog.
Albany police officials are saying that the collision took place on Sunday night around midnight. An elderly woman was trying to retrieve her dog when she was hit by a car.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
