Pickup Truck Involved In Pedestrian Collision At Parking Lot of Local Riverhead Gym
RIVERHEAD, NEW YORK (September 30, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a pickup truck at the parking lot of a Riverhead Planet Fitness on Old Country Road.
Riverhead police officials are saying that the collision took place around 9:29 a.m. on Friday. A 68-year-old pedestrian was walking when they were hit by a pickup truck.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. He was transported to the Peconic Bay Medical Center.
A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
