Pedestrian Loading U-Haul Seriously Injured In Brooklyn Car Accident Along Ocean Avenue
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (October 21, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a Brooklyn hit-and-run car accident while unloading U-Haul on Ocean Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A pedestrian was unloading a U-Haul when they were hit and pinned by a Mercedes-Benz.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the pedestrian. They were taken to the hospital with serious leg injuries.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz fled the scene on foot. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
