Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Amherst Hit-And-Run Collision By The Intersection of Sweet Home Road and Chestnut Ridge Road
AMHERST, NEW YORK (December 31, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in an Amherst hit-and-run collision near the intersection of Sweet Home Road and Chestnut Ridge Road.
Amherst police officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. A pedestrian was crossing the road when they were hit by a vehicle.
The driver that hit them fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
