One Person Died In Wallkill Collision Along Interstate 84
WALLKILL, NEW YORK (February 1, 2023) – One person was killed in a two vehicle collision in the Town of Wallkill along Interstate 84, according to New York State Police.
Wallkill police officials are saying that the collision took place around 2:10 p.m. on Sunday. Two vehicles collided in the roadway causing one of the vehicles to go down an embankment.
One of the drivers was ejected from their vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, one person died due to the severity of their injuries. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
