Commercial Vehicle Carrying Mobile Home Involved In Deadly Pittstown Car Accident
PITTSTOWN, NEW YORK (September 2, 2023) – One person has tragically died in a Pittstown car accident involving a commercial vehicle along Route 7.
Rensselaer County officials are saying that the collision took place around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday. A commercial vehicle carrying a mobile home was sideswiped by a passenger vehicle.
The passenger vehicle then crossed into eastbound traffic and hit a Mini Cooper carrying a family from New Jersey. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims.
Sadly, one person died due to the severity of their injuries. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
