One Person Died In Monroe Collision Along State Route 17
MONROE, NEW YORK (April 16, 2023) – One person died in a Monroe car accident along State Route 17 by the Monroe barracks, according to New York State Police.
Monroe police officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:16 a.m. on Tuesday. A pedestrian was near their car by the center median when they were hit by a vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
