Liability In Bath Motorcycle Accidents
Thousands of motorcyclists are killed or seriously injured in car accidents every year. According to III, “Motorcycles are by their nature far less crashworthy than closed vehicles. They are also less visible to other drivers and pedestrians and less stable than four-wheel vehicles. Operating a motorcycle requires a different combination of physical and mental skills than those used in driving four-wheel vehicles.” There are a number of factors that could potentially contribute to a Bath motorcycle accident.
- Speeding
- Distracted driving
- Inclement weather
- Drug use
Many motocycle collisions are due to drivers that make unsafe lane changes. The family of any person that is killed in a motorcycle accident may have legal recourse through a wrongful death claim. Damages in a civil claim can help cover lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering. A wrongful death attorney can examine all of the unique facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are.
