Head-On Collision On State Route 1 In Alfred Leaves One Person Dead
ALFRED, NEW YORK (July 21, 2023) – One person has tragically died in a head-on car accident along State Route 1 in the Town of Alfred.
New York State Police are saying that the collision took place on Tuesday. A Chevrolet headed on State Route 21 collided with a another Chevrolet headed southbound.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims. Despite life-saving measures, one person died due to the severity of their injuries.
Another person was treated for leg injuries. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
