Driver Allegedly Had Twice Legal BAC Limit Before Jamestown Crash
JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (May 30, 2023) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a Jamestown DUI car accident by Hazeltine Avenue and Colfax Street.
Jamestown police officials are saying that the accident took place around 12:30 p.m. on Friday. A driver hit a vehicle near the intersection.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. They were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the vehicle on suspicion of DUI. A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
