Flanders Head-On Car Accident Injured One Person
FLANDERS, NEW YORK (July 31, 2023) – One person has tragically died in a Flanders head-on car accident along County Road 104 by County Road 105.
Flanders police officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:03 p.m. on Sunday. A driver crossed into opposing lanes of traffic and hit another vehicle.
One of the drivers removed the rear license plate from his vehicle and then left the scene. That driver was later located at his residence and admitted to leaving the scene without first reporting the accident.
At least one person was taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
