Several People Injured In Van Buren Collision With Impaired Driver On Route 690 South
VAN BUREN, NEW YORK (February 2, 2023) – Several people were injured when a driver crossed into opposing lanes of traffic and hit another car on Route 690 in Van Buren.
Van Buren police officials are saying that the collision took place around 12:20 p.m. on Monday. A driver crossed into opposing lanes of traffic when they collided with a minivan.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help all of the victims. Two people in the minivan were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment.
Police arrested one person on suspicion of DUI. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
