Several People Injured In Sunnyside, Queens Construction Accident Near the Intersection of 37th Avenue near 48th Street
SUNNYSIDE, NEW YORK (March 21, 2023) – Five contractors were injured in a Sunnyside construction accident at a worksite by 37th Avenue near 48th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 11:25 a.m. on Monday. Five construction workers were injured when they were hit by some type of falling object.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident in order to help all of the victims. Multiple construction workers were taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment for serious injuries.
A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
