A Q-20 bus was heading down the road when a bus driver may have misjudged how close a curb was.The bus driver jumped the curb before proceeding to crash into a light pole and ticket machine. The force of the impact caused major damage to the pole as well as the bus.Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victims. In all, 8 people were injured in the collision.It remains unclear if the bus driver involved will receive any citations.Liability for Queens MTA Bus AccidentsA number of people are injured in MTA bus accidents each year in NYC. According to one report from the New York Post, “At least 2,520 people \u2014 or 2.7 per day \u2014 were injured [from 2015 – 2018], according to the MTA.
