Appointing Blame
In the ruling, the court appointed blame as follows:
- 50 percent of the blame went to Jacobi Medical Center located in the Bronx.
- 40 percent of the blame went to Kings County Hospital Center located in Brooklyn.
- Another 5 percent of the blame went to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
- 4 percent went to one of the hospital’s neurologists.
- The final one percent was appointed as the responsibility of Ms. Martin herself.
