Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Driver Suspected In Newburgh Collision
NEWBURGH, NEW YORK (September 29, 2023) – A man has tragically died in a suspected Newburgh hit-and-run collision by Old Little Britain Road and Unity Place.
Newburgh police officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:50 a.m. on Monday. A man was changing a tire along the side of the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
That driver fled the scene of the collision and is currently being sought by police. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, the pedestrian died due to the severe nature of their injuries.
